Terms of Service

Last updated: July 29, 2026. By purchasing a license, starting a trial, downloading the installer, or using sovereignos.pro, you agree to these terms.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to Sovereign.OS software, related websites, checkout, billing entitlements, and optional companion services (together, the “Service”). If you do not agree, do not purchase, install, or use the Service.

2. The product

Sovereign.OS is a local-first Windows desktop real estate operating system. Your workspace data is intended to reside in a sealed vault on your machine (the system of record). Optional cloud components support licensing and field use:

  • Billing / entitlements on our Railway-hosted API (sovereignos-production.up.railway.app), with payments via Stripe
  • On-the-Go at app.sovereignos.pro — device-authenticated field mirrors, not the sealed offline vault
  • Optional Relay and optional sync you configure

Those cloud components are not a full cloud CRM substitute for your vault. Entitlements are verified online when possible; offline use is cooperative / cached entitlement state — not cryptographically fail-closed offline DRM.

3. Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract and use the Service for legitimate business purposes (typically licensed or practicing real estate professionals and their teams). You are responsible for compliance with laws that apply to your brokerage, privacy, fair housing, communications (email/SMS), and property-management activities.

4. Accounts, devices, and activation

Purchases and trials are processed through Stripe Checkout on or linked from sovereignos.pro. After payment, you install the desktop app (for example from GitHub Releases) and activate using the purchase flow in the product — including choosing “I already purchased” and pasting a Checkout session id when prompted. Entitlements are enforced via our Railway billing backend when online; offline operation may rely on cached entitlement state. You are responsible for keeping activation credentials and device access secure.

5. Licenses (buy once)

Core, Full Suite, and one-time add-ons (for example Commercial Pro and Property Management) are offered as one-time license purchases at the prices shown at checkout, unless we state otherwise. A paid license grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable (except as we allow in writing) right to install and use the software for your internal business use on devices you control, subject to these Terms and any plan limits described at purchase.

  • Licenses do not transfer ownership of our intellectual property.
  • You may not resell, rent, sublicense, or publicly redistribute the software binaries except as allowed by an open-source component’s own license.
  • Feature scope follows the plan you buy; add-ons may require an active Core or Full Suite base license.

6. Trials (free / 3 days and $1 / 14 days)

There are two marketed trials:

  • A free three (3) day trial of Full Suite with no card required, limited to one per account. Nothing is charged, there is nothing to cancel, and access simply ends when the three days elapse unless you purchase a license or start the paid trial.
  • A $1 charge for fourteen (14) days of Full Suite capability (card required).

There is no automatic post-trial charge. When either trial ends:

  • Full Suite access lapses and no license remains active;
  • We do not charge any stored payment method to convert your trial; and
  • Continuing requires an explicit purchase by you of Core ($599) or Full Suite ($1,299).

The app may record a preferred plan and recommend it after your trial ends. That preference is a pre-selection for a purchase you make yourself — it is not authorization to charge you. Optional recurring products (for example Relay) are separate and billed as described at checkout.

7. Refunds

We want buyers who are a fit — not forced refunds theater. As of this date we do not publish an automated money-back guarantee. If something went wrong with checkout, duplicate charges, or activation, email support@sovereignos.pro with your receipt or Checkout session id. We will review refund requests in good faith and respond. Chargebacks should be a last resort after contacting support; abusive chargebacks may result in entitlement revocation.

8. Installer, Windows SmartScreen, and unsigned builds

Current Windows installers may be unsigned (no Authenticode publisher certificate yet). Windows Defender SmartScreen or your browser may warn that the app is unrecognized. That is an OS trust warning about publisher reputation — not proof the file is malware — but you should only download from links we publish (for example our site or official GitHub Releases). By installing an unsigned build you accept that friction and the residual risk of downloading software. We are working toward signed releases; when signing is live, this section will be updated.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer the Service except where mandatory law allows
  • Attack, overload, or bypass billing, licensing, or security controls
  • Use the Service for unlawful spam, fraud, discrimination, or other illegal activity
  • Misrepresent the product as a certified FCRA, Fair Housing, or compliance suite when features are labeled Beta or workflow aids only

10. Third-party services

Payments run through Stripe. Billing entitlements run on our Railway-hosted API. You may connect third-party services (SMTP, Twilio, MLS/RESO, e-sign providers, cloud storage, local AI runtimes). Those services have their own terms and privacy policies; we are not responsible for their acts or outages.

11. Beta and evolving features

Some modules (including certain property-management tools) are marked Beta or incomplete relative to incumbent cloud PMS products. Beta features are provided as-is, may change, and should not be treated as certified compliance products.

12. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that the Service will meet every brokerage or regulatory requirement you face.

13. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS, ARISING FROM THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IN ANY TWELVE-MONTH PERIOD IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THAT PERIOD (OR $100 IF YOU PAID NOTHING BEYOND A TRIAL FEE). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the fullest extent allowed.

14. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the Service, your content and client data, or your violation of law or these Terms.

15. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach, fraud, non-payment, or risk to the Service. Local data on your devices remains under your control subject to your backups and uninstall practices; termination of cloud entitlements does not automatically delete your local vault.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the operator principally does business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer law in your place of residence says otherwise. Specific state venue and arbitration terms may be added when a formal entity jurisdiction is finalized. Until then, disputes will be handled in good faith via support@sovereignos.pro, then in courts of competent jurisdiction in the United States.

17. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a new version at this URL and updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms for prospective use. If you disagree, stop using the Service and contact support about your license.
